Adria Crutchfield is an affordable housing and community development leader with public service experience that spans federal, state, and local government legislative and executive branches. Since February 2019, she has served as the Executive Director of the Baltimore Regional Housing Partnership, dedicated to helping families escape poverty through access to high-quality housing in areas with strong schools, low crime, and ample job opportunities.
Immediately prior to joining BRHP, Adria served as Chief of Staff at the New York City Department of Buildings where she advised the Commissioner on the administration and execution of agency priorities including organizational restructuring, improving the safety of construction sites, and the Mayor’s goals to develop affordable housing; support small businesses; and build a more sustainable, and equitable City.
Previously, Adria worked as the Senior Advisor to the Executive Vice President for Capital Projects at the New York City Housing Authority, the largest public housing authority in the country. In this capacity, she supported the day-to-day operations and management of 400 employees responsible for planning, designing, and delivering a $2 billion, five-year construction program.
She has held roles in external affairs, issue advocacy, and coalition building focused on improving the quality of life of vulnerable populations and creating vibrant cities.
Adria is a graduate of Washington University in St. Louis where she studied architecture and American University where she earned her master’s in public policy. She is a proud alum of Coro Leadership New York.
Alison James is the financial operations director at BRHP. Her responsibilities include administering payroll and benefits for staff and processing payments to property partners and program participants. She is also responsible for preparing financial audit and regulatory reports. Alison has over 20 years of experience in banking for various financial institutions in Baltimore. Alison graduated from the University of Baltimore with a bachelor’s degree in finance and accounting, and a master’s degree in taxation. In her free time, she enjoys working on restoring her family’s farmhouse, reading, movies, and traveling.
Alnita Sherrill is a program training specialist at BRHP. Her responsibilities include designing training materials and facilitating trainings for program participants and staff. She has a long history of working with homeless, re-entry, and welfare-to-work programs. Alnita holds an associate’s and bachelor’s degrees in human services along with a host of certifications. She is passionate about helping her community and has served on the board of several community associations. She is also active in her church community.
Andrea Huckleby is an operations analyst at BRHP. Her responsibilities include evaluating BRHP’s programs for efficiency and effectiveness through qualitative and quantitative research. She is also responsible for assisting the policy team in understanding and advocating for important housing legislation. Prior to working at BRHP, Andrea mentored and advocated for high school students at a non-profit organization in Indiana. Andrea received her bachelor’s degree in psychological science from Ball State University in 2013. She received her master’s degree in public policy from the University of Maryland in 2019. In her free time, Andrea enjoys exploring new places, spending time with friends and family, and taking walks.
Anthony Brown is the finance operations supervisor at BRHP. His responsibilities include providing analytical and operational support to the organization’s financial processes. Prior to joining BRHP, Anthony worked within the financial teams of UnitedHealthcare/Optum Rx, Catamaran Rx, Krisam Inc., and GEP Inc. Anthony earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Baltimore. He is currently pursuing a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Baltimore. In his free time, Anthony enjoys grilling food and participating in active outdoor activities.
Ashley Herring is a rental assistance associate with a focus on leasing at BRHP. Her responsibilities include responding to program participant and owner requests and processing interim changes, final eligibility applications, rent increases, and request for tenancy approvals (RTAs). Prior to BRHP, Ashley was a family investment specialist with Baltimore City Department of Social Services. Ashley graduated from Montclair State University in 2013 with a bachelor’s degree in sociology. In her free time, Ashley enjoys reading books and binge watching Grey’s Anatomy.
Bernard Jones is the landlord relationship specialist at BRHP. His responsibilities include managing BRHP’s database of available units and recruiting, establishing, and maintaining positive relationships with property owners throughout the Baltimore region. Bernard’s previous work experience includes public assistance programming, workforce development, counseling, and teaching. Bernard earned an associate’s degree in psychology from the College of Coastal Georgia and a bachelor’s degree in political science from Georgia Southern University. In his free time, he enjoys gardening and attending music concerts.
Blaine Getachew is the real estate procurement manager at BRHP, where she oversees and implements the organization’s Project-Based Voucher Program. She also develops strategies to increase high quality housing opportunities throughout the region. Blaine is also responsible for overseeing procurement efforts to support BRHP’s operations. Prior to BRHP, she held roles procuring for the State of Maryland, performing strategic sourcing for Johns Hopkins University, and performing contract management for the Housing Authority of Baltimore City. Blaine earned her MPA from the University of Baltimore. She is a fan of all things Caribbean.
Brandi Jefferson is the operations supervisor at BRHP. Her responsibilities include ensuring BRHP runs effectively and efficiently. Prior to BRHP, Brandi worked as an inspections coordinator for the Baltimore Metropolitan Quadel. She has a bachelor’s degree in psychology with a certificate in applied rhetoric. She also holds a master’s degree in criminal justice with a certificate in trauma informed care.
Carlton Thompson is an inspector at BRHP. His responsibilities include performing Housing Quality Standard (HQS) inspections of units to ensure they are in decent, safe, and sanitary conditions for program participants. Carlton previously worked at the Maryland Division of Corrections, where he retired. He also worked for Baltimore City Animal Control. He is a graduate of Bluefield High School. He continued his studies at Concord College and Bluefield State College. In his free time, Carlton enjoys cars, fishing, and playing pool.
Charletta McLean is the HR Talent Manager at BRHP, where she is responsible for setting an overall talent plan and strategy to ensure that BRHP is hiring and retaining passionate and above capable talent, while supporting and encouraging their professional growth. She is also responsible for creating honest and trusted relationships amongst team members to help employees thrive individually and collectively. Charletta has been an HR Professional for over 20 years. Prior to BRHP, Charletta worked for Richcroft, Inc, the Family League of Baltimore City, and eMerge, Inc. She earned her bachelor’s degree in business administration, with a minor in legal studies, from Towson University. She also earned her master’s degree in human resource development and management. In her free time, Charletta enjoys reading, dancing, shopping, volunteering, and spending time with her family and friends.
Doreather Robinson is a customer care representative at BRHP. Her responsibilities include assigning recertifications and interims and receiving and preparing hearings, reviews, and total tenant payments (TTPs). She is also responsible for scheduling, and managing the reception desk when needed. Doreather is a graduate of Northern High School. Her passions include attending church and bowling.
Efron Berkowitz is a rental assistance associate with a focus on leasing at BRHP. His responsibilities include responding to, processing, and reviewing client and owner requests, rent increases, interim changes, final eligibility applications, and request for tenancy approvals (RTAs). Prior to BRHP, Efron worked as a leasing consultant for various properties in Maryland, Washington, DC, and Virginia. He also worked as an area sales representative for the Hershey Company. Efron attended high school at Wilde Lake High School in Columbia, Maryland and he earned a bachelor’s degree in history from McDaniel College, where he had the opportunity to study abroad in Budapest. In his free time, Efron enjoys playing card and board games.
FaShaunDa Walton is the Housing Choice Voucher director at BRHP. Her responsibilities include overseeing BRHP’s Housing Choice Voucher Department, which is responsible for administering rental assistance to Baltimore Housing Mobility program participants. Prior to BRHP, FaShaunDa worked in banking and retail. In her free time, FaShaunDa enjoys spending time at home with her family.
Graham Bos is a rental assistance associate at BRHP, where he is responsible for handling recertifications, interim changes, and rent increases for clients. Prior to BRHP, Graham worked as a community fellow at the Maryland Department of Housing and Community Development. Graham also worked at Varsity Tutors as a college prep tutor, and at a variety of places in the retail industry, including Olive Garden and Weis Foods. He earned his bachelor’s degree in applied mathematics and economics from St. Mary’s College of Maryland. In his free time, Graham enjoys playing soccer and ping pong as well as traveling and learning new languages.
