Procurement
Opportunities to do business with BRHP will be posted below. Learn how to do business with us and obtain information on all upcoming procurement initiatives, such as Requests for Proposals (RFPs), Requests for Qualifications (RFQs) and Invitations to Bid (IFBs). BRHP purchases a wide variety of goods and services, and also procures professional services. All Procurement activities comply with HUD (U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development) guidelines.
When will BRHP want to start this work and over what period of time are you looking to have it completed?
BRHP is interested in starting the process within 2 weeks of awarding the contract but open to recommendations from respondents for timeline and number and duration of meetings in order to accomplish what is outlined in the scope. A few Saturdays are being held on the calender in June, July and September for board sessions but we are open to scheduling other dates. If scheduling sessions on weekdays, evenings after 5 pm are preferred.
The RFP referenced a summary of conversations from select board members. Why this is included, can you please explain the reasoning behind this? And how many people are you wanting to include in this sampling?
BRHP anticipates the selected facilitator may want to gather information in advance of full board sessions to surface issues where there are opposing ideas or feelings about some of the changes being contemplated or recommended in order to strengthen board functions. The Executive Director and Governance Committee members will have suggestions for a mix of up to 6 founding members and new members for offering the opportunity to have one on one conversations.
