Ashley Herring is a rental assistance associate with a focus on leasing at BRHP. Her responsibilities include responding to program participant and owner requests and processing interim changes, final eligibility applications, rent increases, and request for tenancy approvals (RTAs). Prior to BRHP, Ashley was a family investment specialist with Baltimore City Department of Social Services. Ashley graduated from Montclair State University in 2013 with a bachelor’s degree in sociology. In her free time, Ashley enjoys reading books and binge watching Grey’s Anatomy.
Doreather Robinson is a customer care representative at BRHP. Her responsibilities include assigning recertifications and interims and receiving and preparing hearings, reviews, and total tenant payments (TTPs). She is also responsible for scheduling, and managing the reception desk when needed. Doreather is a graduate of Northern High School. Her passions include attending church and bowling.
Efron Berkowitz is a rental assistance associate with a focus on leasing at BRHP. His responsibilities include responding to, processing, and reviewing client and owner requests, rent increases, interim changes, final eligibility applications, and request for tenancy approvals (RTAs). Prior to BRHP, Efron worked as a leasing consultant for various properties in Maryland, Washington, DC, and Virginia. He also worked as an area sales representative for the Hershey Company. Efron attended high school at Wilde Lake High School in Columbia, Maryland and he earned a bachelor’s degree in history from McDaniel College, where he had the opportunity to study abroad in Budapest. In his free time, Efron enjoys playing card and board games.
FaShaunDa Walton is the Housing Choice Voucher director at BRHP. Her responsibilities include overseeing BRHP’s Housing Choice Voucher Department, which is responsible for administering rental assistance to Baltimore Housing Mobility program participants. Prior to BRHP, FaShaunDa worked in banking and retail. In her free time, FaShaunDa enjoys spending time at home with her family.
Jequira Smith is the rental assistance supervisor at BRHP. Her responsibilities include determining and documenting applicant or participant eligibility, income, and rent for the Housing Choice Voucher, managing leasing services, and supervising the recertification’s and interim processing teams. Prior to BRHP, Jequira worked to provide housing to homeless individuals and families through a combination of rental subsidy and supportive services with the Montgomery County Coalition for the Homeless. Jequira earned her bachelor’s degree in criminal Justice from Radford University. She received her master’s degree in Human Services Administration from the University of Baltimore. Jequira enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, and meditation.
Julianne Walker is a leasing team lead at BRHP. Her responsibilities include leasing new admission participants and movers, monitoring the flow of leasing, and quality control. She also works with participants and property partners in addressing their concerns during the leasing process. Prior to BRHP, Julie worked as a community development assistant at Park Central Development. She also served in Americorps as a case manager at the McKinleyville Family Resource Center. Julie earned her bachelor’s degree in social work from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County. She received her master’s degree in social work from the Brown School at Washington University in St. Louis. Julie comes from a military family, and still enjoys traveling and exploring new places often.
Kierra Riley is a rental assistance associate at BRHP. Her responsibilities include processing recertification, interim changes, and rent increases for Housing Choice Vouchers. She is also responsible for analyzing data and computing figures to determine income and program eligibility. Prior to BRHP, Kierra worked at the Department of Social Services as a family investment specialist, where she processed food supplement, cash assistance, and medical assistance applications. Kierra earned her bachelor’s degree in liberal arts with concentrations in English, communications, and psychology from Wesley College. In her free time, Kierra enjoys spending time with her family and friends.
Lisa Wright is the inspections supervisor at BRHP. Her responsibilities include overseeing daily inspection assignments and property partner and program participant meditations, reviewing inspection reports, and performing inspections to ensure units are in decent, safe, and sanitary conditions for program participants. Prior to BRHP, Lisa worked as a housing coordinator at the Housing Authority of Anne Arundel County. She also worked at Metropolitan Baltimore Quadel as a housing specialist and inspector. Lisa is a graduate of Laurel High School. She continued her studies at Frostburg State University and Prince George’s Community College. She earned her certifications in Housing Quality Standards and the Housing Choice Voucher Program from Nan McKay & Associates and Quadel Consulting & Training. In her free time, she enjoys traveling.
Robert Lighty is an inspector at BRHP. His responsibilities include performing Housing Quality Standard inspections to ensure units are in decent, safe, and sanitary conditions for program participants. Prior to BRHP, Robert worked as a real estate agent. He earned his bachelor’s degree from Lincoln University.
Rockelle Woodard is a customer care representative at BRHP. She is responsible for ensuring the office is well managed, working with the inspections and rental assistance teams, and other administrative responsibilities. Rockelle previously worked in the health field as an administrative assistant at Marquis Health Services and ManorCare Health Services. She earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology and is currently working on her master’s degree in psychology from the University of Phoenix. She is member of the Order of the Eastern Star.
Sam Weinschenk is a rental assistance associate at BRHP. His responsibilities include reviewing and processing recertifications, rent increases, and interim changes. Prior to BRHP, Sam worked as a correspondence unit representative for the City of Baltimore in the Mayor’s Office of Correspondence and Constituent Services. He earned a bachelor’s degree in sociology and philosophy from Towson University. In his free time, Sam enjoys watching stand-up comedy and reading.
Shal Kamal is a rental assistance associate at BRHP. Her responsibilities include processing recertifications, rent increases, and interim changes. She is also responsible for educating program participants about the program and how their voucher assistance is calculated. Prior to BRHP, Shal worked at a Section 8/Tax Credit apartment complex. She also worked for a Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funded home repair program, which provided home repairs for seniors and individuals with disabilities. Shal attended Purdue University in West Lafayette, Indiana. In her free time, she enjoys quilting and viewing fresh water tropical aquariums.
Tyreece Diggs is a rental assistance associate at BRHP. Her responsibilities include reviewing and processing recertifications, rent increases, and interim changes. She is also responsible for conducting income and informal hearings. Tyreece’s previous work experience includes completing annual recertifications for tax credits at a Section 8 base site. She attended Baltimore International College. In her free time, she enjoys shopping, reading, traveling, and spending quality time with her family.
