BRHP is a mission-driven organization that has created better life outcomes for thousands of families through housing mobility and intensive counseling to disrupt the cycles of intergenerational poverty. We believe in the right of all families to have access and choice over where they raise their families, and in their ability to achieve their goals and dreams in safe, healthy, and economically vibrant communities.

Our nationally-recognized housing mobility program has served as a model for using housing mobility to combat discriminatory housing policy and create better life outcomes for low-income families throughout the country. BRHP seeks a Temporary Rental Assistance Associate who cares about providing the best service to low-income families and whose duties include determining and documenting applicant or participant eligibility, income, and rent for the Baltimore Housing Mobility Program (BRHP’s Housing Choice Voucher program), in accordance with the program’s administrative policies and procedures.

Part-Time Rental Assistance Associate

BRHP seeks a Part-Time Rental Assistance Associate who cares about providing the best service to low-income families and whose duties include determining and documenting applicant or participant eligibility, income, and rent for the Baltimore Housing Mobility Program (BRHP’s Housing Choice Voucher program), in accordance with the program’s administrative policies and procedures.

Housing Counselor

BRHP seeks a Counselor who supports the organization’s mission of providing quality housing counseling services to qualifying families moving to opportunity areas. BRHP is looking for a Counselor that can effectively manage competing priorities and assist a diverse client population with adjusting to new communities. Primary duties include: conducting home visits, connecting families with resources, conducting landlord/tenant mediations, and assisting families with the move process in accordance with the Program’s administrative policies and procedures.

Rental Assistance Associate

BRHP seeks a Rental Assistance Associate who cares about providing the best service to low-income families and whose duties include determining and documenting applicant or participant eligibility, income, and rent for the BRHP Housing Choice Voucher (HCV) program in accordance with the Program’s administrative policies and procedures.

Counseling Supervisor

Are you a TEAM player that can effectively lead people, all while making a difference in the lives of others? BRHP seeks a Counseling Supervisor who cares about providing the best service to low-income families and whose duties include monitoring counseling staff to ensure they are meeting and/or exceeding BRHP performance standards in accordance with the Program’s administrative policies and procedures. The Counseling Supervisor must support BRHP’s mission, vision, and values in an effort to provide effective supervision of the post-counseling team and excellent customer service to a diverse client population.

Counseling Director

BRHP seeks a Counseling Director who cares about providing the best service to low-income families and is passionate about developing upward mobility. Reporting to the Managing Director of Program Administration, the Counseling Director will be tasked with supervising approximately 9-11 employees responsible for the pipeline of pre-counseling, the housing search and landlord outreach team, voucher issuance, and post-move counseling.

Customer Care Representative

BRHP seeks a Customer Care Representative who cares about providing the best service to low-income families and whose duties include receiving information and determining and documenting client follow-up for families moving to opportunity areas in accordance with the Program’s administrative policies and procedures. Conducting all job functions according to BRHP’s Administrative Plan, US Housing and Urban Development regulations and other state and local requirements, the position requires full accountability for assigned cases including maintaining accurate and complete files, resolving issues, and responsiveness to all inquiries. This position will work closely with BRHP’s Housing Counseling team.
