Aliyah Mubdi-Bey is a Housing Mobility Associate at BRHP, where she processes recertifications, interim changes, rent increases, and final eligibility. Prior to BRHP, she worked at Jenkins Block and Associates as a paralegal. In this role, she helped individuals apply and receive social security disability benefits. Aliyah earned her undergraduate degree from Sojourner Douglass College. In her free time she enjoys traveling, shopping, spending time with friends and family, cooking, and reading.

Ashley Herring is a Housing Mobility Supervisor for the leasing team at BRHP. Her responsibilities include overseeing the functions of the rental assistance, inspections, and leasing teams, including determining program eligibility, leasing, moves, interims, and ending participation; ensuring inspections meets Housing Quality Standards, HUD regulations, and guidelines of the BRHP Administrative Plan; and managing voucher issuance, and review and execution of leasing goals. Prior to BRHP, Ashley was a family investment specialist with Baltimore City Department of Social Services. Ashley graduated from Montclair State University in 2013 with a bachelor’s degree in sociology. In her free time, Ashley enjoys reading books and binge watching Grey’s Anatomy.

Camden Leigh is the Special Assistant to the Housing Mobility Director at BRHP, where he coordinates scheduling and correspondences to help carry out BRHP’s mission. He also works to support the Housing Mobility Director’s endeavors and responsibilities. Prior to BRHP, Camden worked as an Assistant Property Manager and a Fraud Analyst, where he used company data to predict behaviors and detect fraud. In his free time, Camden enjoys biking, recreational sports and being a DJ.

Carlton Thompson is the HQS Inspections Team Lead at BRHP. His responsibilities include performing HQS (Housing Quality Standard) inspections of units to ensure they are in decent, safe, and sanitary conditions for program participants. Carlton previously worked at the Maryland Division of Corrections, where he retired. He also worked for Baltimore City Animal Control. He is a graduate of Bluefield High School. He continued his studies at Concord College and Bluefield State College. In his free time, Carlton enjoys cars, fishing, and playing pool.

Chalisse Lockley is a Rental Assistant Associate at BRHP, where she processes Housing Choice Voucher Recertifications, Rent Increases, and Requests for Tenancy Approval (RTAs). Prior to BRHP, Chalisse worked at the Baltimore County Department of Housing and Community Development as a Housing Specialist. She earned her Business Communications degree from Stevenson University. In her free time, Chalisse enjoys watching television and journaling.

Cheryl Daniels is a Housing Mobility Team Lead at BRHP. She is responsible for processing program participant and owner requests, recruiting, building and maintaining healthy relationships with property owners. She helps maintain a positive rapport with property owners and participants. Cheryl is a licensed realtor and has a background in banking and finance, where she perfected the skill of matching products and services with customers’ needs and wants. She enjoys helping others and in her free time she likes to spend time with her family and hike.

Cheryl Smith is a Rental Assistance Associate at BRHP, where she supports the Housing Mobility team in administering rental assistance services. Before joining BRHP, Cheryl spent over 38 years at the Housing Authority of Baltimore City (HABC), where she held a range of roles including Program Specialist, Administrative Assistant, and Training Coordinator. She has a background in business management and brings extensive experience in housing and property administration.

Christina Coleman is a Housing Mobility Rental Assistance Associate, bringing over a decade of experience in property management, where she specialized in tenant relations, lease administration, and housing compliance. In addition to her professional background in housing, Christina is also the founder of a successful event planning/mobile sip and paint business that allows her to express her creativity and passion for community engagement.

In her spare time, Christina enjoys reading, watching the history channel, challenging her knowledge with trivia, traveling and playing spades.

De’Monta Reed is a Housing Mobility Associate at BRHP, where he manages the front desk, assists incoming clients, and processes documents. Prior to BRHP, De’Monta worked at CR of Maryland as an Assistant Property Manager. De’Monta also has over 10 years of customer service experience. He earned his Associates Degree from South Mountain Community College, and attended Howard University. In his free time, De’Monta enjoys music, anime, and any activity in the water!

Dominic joins us from the Housing Commission of Anne Arundel County where he worked for 13 years with his final role as Program Manager. Dominic has years of experience in customer relations, tenant services and is highly adept at problem solving to create successful outcomes. Dominic is an alumnus of San Diego State University, with a Bachelor of Arts in English.

Duran Kelly is a Housing Mobility Inspector at BRHP, where he is responsible for completing initial and annual home inspections for participants in the BRHP Housing Mobility program, to ensure that the dwellings are adequate, safe, and functional for the new tenants. He also is in contact with tenants and landlords to assuage any questions or concerns they might have. Prior to BRHP, Duran worked in retail for twenty years before working in real estate appraisal for three years. Duran graduated from the University of Baltimore with a bachelor’s degree in business administration with a concentration in Real Estate & Economic Development. In his free time, Duran enjoys playing poker and card games with his loved ones.

Esteban is a rental assistance associate, where he manages interim changes, rent increases, and terminations. Prior to working at BRHP, Esteban worked as an online sales manager at Mac Business Solutions, an Apple reseller. He also worked at Chipotle Mexican Grill (but already knew how to make guacamole before that). He earned a bachelor’s degree in philosophy with a minor in religious studies from St. Mary’s College of Maryland. In his free time, Esteban loves watching and playing soccer, honing his analytical skills through video and board games, hiking, and doing anything in the kitchen.

Heather Strauss is a Housing Mobility Supervisor at BRHP, where she leads the post-move counseling team and manages tasks related to home visits, maintenance issues, and program compliance. Her background includes experience in legal support, healthcare, and case management. Heather is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Human Services Administration with a minor in Business. In her free time, she enjoys reading, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.

Jahselah White is a Rental Assistant at BRHP, where she works on voucher recertifications, rent increases, and Requests for Tenancy Approval (RTAs). Prior to her time at BRHP, she worked for the Maryland Management Company and was a leasing professional for Morgan Properties. She is a graduate of Delaware State University with a B.A. in Integrated Studies. In her spare time, Jahselah enjoys music, singing at her church, trying new restaurants and watching movies.

JaNay DeVaughn is a Client Service Navigator at BRHP, where she assists clients with resources, focuses on the Healthy Children Demonstration, and conducting workshops and webinars on BRHP services. She is also responsible for advocating for our clients. Prior to BRHP, JaNay worked at Eva Life Giver as a Case Manager and Psychiatric Rehabilitation Counselor. JaNay also worked at Sheppard Pratt Psychiatric Hospital. She earned her Master’s in Child & Adolescent Psychology and her second Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology. She is also a graduate of Loyola University in Baltimore, MD. In her free time, JaNay enjoys writing, traveling, and trying new restaurants.

Jordan Eades is a Housing Mobility Associate, where she is responsible for determining a participant’s program eligibility, voucher issuance, and assisting with the processing of Housing Authority of Baltimore City Housing Assistance Payment contracts. She is also responsible for processing rent increase requests, Requests for Tenancy Approval (RTAs), interim forms, and recertifications. Prior to BRHP, Jordan worked in property management. She earned her Bachelor of Science from Morgan State University. In her free time, Jordan enjoys playing softball, traveling, and spending time with friends and family.
