BRHP’s Growing Assets and Income (GAIN) Program is a voluntary program available to eligible Baltimore Housing Mobility Program participants who are motivated to achieve their financial goals. GAIN will enable families to set and achieve their education, career, homeownership and financial goals, and support full financial independence. Participants can earn up to $8,000 as they work to achieve their goals. GAIN is limited to 250 households.

The program models the Department of Housing and Urban Development’s (HUD) Family Self Sufficiency (FSS) program, which enables HUD-assisted families to increase their earned income and reduce their dependency on public subsidies.
