SB 859 – Fair Share for Maryland Act of 2025 (2025)
This legislation adjusts estate tax limits, updates the definition of a “qualified child” for certain tax credits, and introduces a business transportation fee on the taxable income of corporations and pass-through entities.
HB 1007 – Fair Share for Maryland Act of 2024 Testimony (2024)
This legislation sought to right-size our upside-down tax system and ensure wealthy businesses and individuals pay their fair share for the public services we all benefit from while lowering taxes for more than 1.3 million Marylanders through expansion of the Child Tax Credit and Earned Income
HB 460 – DHCD Equity Analysis Testimony (2023)
We support HB 460 because we have seen year-over-year that precious financial resources administered by the Department be allocated in a manner disproportionate to the need across the state.
