Megan Wessels is the counseling director at BRHP. Her responsibilities include overseeing the housing mobility counseling services for BRHP applicants and participants. This includes the pre-move department, post-move department, and landlord relationship specialist. Her team works diligently to prepare program participants for tenancy and to ensure they get stably housed in healthy communities by coupling non-profit and social service resources with counseling. Megan served as housing services and counseling professional for over 15 years of experience and brings a wealth of knowledge in managing and developing programs to BRHP. Her experience also includes providing effective management and supervision to individuals in the areas of youth development, workforce development, mental illness, financial literacy, and case management. Megan earned a dual master’s degree in business administration and nonprofit management from the University of Maryland. In her downtime, she enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, and cruising vintage consignment shops.
