Housing Mobility Associate - Counseling

Keston is a Housing Mobility Associate, Counselor at BRHP. He earned his bachelor's degree in political science from Washington Adventist University, where his education emphasized using knowledge and skills to serve and uplift communities.

During his time there, he connected with leaders in affordable housing and community land trusts in Baltimore, an experience that led to a full-time role. In that position, he supported and helped pioneer initiatives promoting homeownership for families earning at or below 50% of Baltimore City’s AMI. His work focused on advancing financial literacy, preventing displacement, and encouraging sustainable community reinvestment.

More recently, he became a HUD Certified Housing Counselor, equipping him to guide families through the full housing journey, from pre-purchase education and financial roadmapping to loan restructuring, foreclosure prevention, and rental assistance.
