Jequira Smith is the rental assistance supervisor at BRHP. Her responsibilities include determining and documenting applicant or participant eligibility, income, and rent for the Housing Choice Voucher, managing leasing services, and supervising the recertification's and interim processing teams. Prior to BRHP, Jequira worked to provide housing to homeless individuals and families through a combination of rental subsidy and supportive services with the Montgomery County Coalition for the Homeless. Jequira earned her bachelor’s degree in criminal Justice from Radford University. She received her master’s degree in Human Services Administration from the University of Baltimore. Jequira enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, and meditation.
